Consent Template holds the reusable consent texts your practice uses — extraction, root canal, orthodontics, anaesthesia and the like. Writing them once here means a clinician can raise a properly-worded consent for a patient in seconds from the Consents tab.
The template list
Each template shows its Title, a preview of its Content, and the date it was Created.
Creating a consent template
- Add New / Create New — enter a Title and the Content (the consent wording). You can dictate the content with speech-to-text, and insert placeholders (notations) that are filled with the patient’s details when the consent is generated.
- Import Pre-defined Templates — bring in a ready-made consent from the CAPS28 library and adjust the wording to your practice.
Edit & delete
Use the row actions to edit a template’s title or wording, or delete it (with a confirmation). Because consents are a medico-legal record, keep the wording reviewed and current — changes here apply to consents you raise from now on.
